Support DeskVENDOR ASSESSMENT UPDATED; FOR ALL SELLERS REGISTERED ON GEM PORTAL
GeM authorities are taking all efforts to ensure the high quality of the products which are being offered in the portal. With this objective in consideration, GeM is introducing Vendor Assessment by SEBI Empanelled agencies, viz., CRISIL Ltd, M/s India Ratings and Research Pvt Ltd and Brickworks Ratings India Pvt. Ltd. It is to be noted that the assessment of the seller’s by any of the empanelled agency is not mandatory, but at the choice of the seller to go for it. In case of choosing to go for assessment, the assessment form has been made available online on the Seller’s dashboard which needs to be filled up and sent to one of the empanelled agencies. Post submitting form, the assessment will be carried out by the agency, and report submitted to GeM authorities for review. The sellers will be marked in the system as assessed and the report will be reflected in the profile of seller’s in the GeM portal.
