The Testo 410-1 vane anemometer measures air velocity in m/s, fpm, knots, mph, km/h, and Beaufort scale and air temperature in degrees C and F calculates windchill temperature and has hold, maximum, minimum, and timed mean calculation functions for analyzing air flow. Hold function freezes a reading on the display to aid documentation, maximum and minimum functions display highest and lowest readings since the meter was powered on or reset, and timed mean calculation function displays an average reading over time. The meter includes a calibration certificate. The LCD shows air velocity and temperature measurement simultaneously and a backlight provides visibility in low light. The unit has an auto-off mode that shuts it down after 10 minutes of non-use to conserve battery life and has a low-battery indicator. A wrist strap provides a secure hold during one-hand operation.
