We specially designed Janani stretcher focused on the need of the Pregnant Women of forested, Hilly Inaccessible terrains of India from where reaching a nearby hospital for Institutional Delivery is difficult due to lack of motor able road.This stretcher is specially built keeping in mind the comfort of the Expectant Mothers and the Porters Villagers who will carry this stretcher. It is light weight and ergonomically designed for special purposes multipurpose use in case of Carrying Pregnant Women, Geriatric patients in Snake bites Cases. The use of this stretcher in such places asmentioned above would definitely going to solve the Transportation delay- one of the major cause of Maternal Mortality in India.Technical Specification of Stretcher- Overall approximate Size 2030 x 560 x 150 mm Length x Width x Height. Minimum Weight Bearing capacity is 135 Kg. Minimum Ground clearance is 40 mm. Stretcher have tubular stainless steel frame with non-slippery soft grip at both end of the tubular handle bar for carrying the pregnant women. Instead of stainless steel plate the materials for carrying the pregnant women will be made out of Rexene which is easy to clean and adaptable to the pregnant women. It has 30 to 40 degree inclination for back rest of the patient which is to be adjustable.
