The system displays results of an infant comprising of all charts, presently 3 charts, published by World Health Organization - WHO, namely UNDERWEIGHT, STUNTING and WASTING. The system also displays the category of underweight, stunting and wasting as well as the amount of underweight and stunting of an infant. The system is equipped with weighing capacity of 20 kg, accuracy 10 g, host USB port to copy the data on pen drive for onward transfer in computer, data storage capacity of minimum 500 weighing, real time clock to provide date of each weighing, user-friendly local language feather-touch membrane keyboard of 25 keys with audible indication, with LED display. ISI marked, duly certified and stamped by Weights and Measures Department and confirming to IS 9281 and suitable for operation on 230 10 -20 Volts, 50 Hz. The pan for infant is as per standard of Weights and Measures rules 1987. Baby pan size is 550x300 mm and it is made up of smooth, non-porous, readily cleanable and low heat conducting material. Baby pan has adequate strength to handle the children of 6 years age. Separate adaptor box with rechargeable battery is supplied with the scale so that the same can be conveniently carried away for charging purpose. Computer software MAA - Malnutrition Assessment and Analysis, by which one can analyze various data about growth monitoring in tabular and graphical form.
