Astronomical Programmable street light control switch have in built real time clock with battery backup sufficient for 5yrs. with Over Voltage, Under voltage, Over Load and Short Circuit protections. No need of external contactor for up to rated Load. It has the facility to select the switching of the streetlight when the ambient light level falls below 40 Lux and switching OFF the light when the ambient light level goes above 80 Lux. Light detector is used to sense the light level, immune to moon light and streetlights. it also has the facilities to switch ON/OFF the streetlight loads manually by-passing the programmed circuit.
