Laboratory Hot air oven Universal convection type. Inner chamber made of stainless steel. Outer chamber of mild steel with oven baked power coating. Gap between the two walls filled with high density ceramic or glass wool to minimise heat loss. Temperature 5 degree above ambient to 250 degree centigrade. Heating is attained by high resistance kanthal or nichrome heating elements spread all around the body except door. Door is fitted with heavy hinges and latch. Door has similar construction parameters. Temperature is controlled by Microprocessor based PID temperature indicator cum controller.
