Servo voltage regulator are an effective solution to the problems of voltage fluctuations. they are designed to give a regulated output with plus mines 1 puersent of the nominal output voltage. these SVR is available in two configuration, namely balanced load and unbalanced load regulators. the balanced load type sensing circuit which detects the voltage variation in one phase and moves the motor such that three phase output is in the specified limit. the unbalanced load regulator have separate motorised auto-transformers for each phase which are independently controlled to ensure desired output.
