Dustcart is a new electric tricycle for door to door garbage collection. Its compact design makes it easier to collect garbage from houses and narrow streets. It can replace all the hand pulled rickshaws and can save money on purchase costs and running costs. It has completely closed box and hence prevents waste from coming out of the box. Being completely electric, it does not require any fuel and hence does not pollute the environment and also ensures that the drivers health is not affected by harmful waste. It has three lids for loading waste and one lid for unloading it. The rear box can be tilted and hence makes unloading easier. The rear box has also been partitioned and helps to separately collect wet and dry waste. It can run upto 50-60 Km and gets charged in 6-8 hours. The rear box is made up of high quality plastic and hence it does not have the problem of rusting..
