It is an elegantly designed instrument to check the residual chlorine available in drinking water before and after chlorinating the water. Chloroscope measures the available chlorine content in range from 0.1 to 2.0 ppm parts per million.Enzed Chloroscope utilizes the reagent Orthotolidine. Orthotolidine solution changes the colour of water to greenish yellow if chlorine is present. The shade of the tint indicates the content of chlorine present in water, by comparing it with the colour scale attached to the chloroscope on the right side.
